}Our Family Fun Weekend Starts with games, bouncy castles and entertainment for the kids and family. We will have a donation only BBQ at 5pm, as well as a marshmallow roast. It’s a tradition that has been 20 years in the making… Pets in the Park, Edmonton’s Official Pet Festival, is back for another year and it will be a howlin’ good time!

3. Edmonton Turkish Festival
The festivity will include live Turkish music and folkloric dances. There will be authentic Turkish food, a marketplace, arts and crafts show, and lots of fun for the kids! 4. 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off
The Pan Tree will be holding their 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off with proceeds going to The Kids with Cancer Society. Members of Strathcona County Emergency Services Fire Department and RCMP are back in the kitchen and ready to battle for chili supremacy!

5. First Nations: Stories of Creation Pyramid Opening
Celebrate National Aboriginal Day at the Muttart Conservatory by enjoying the opening festivities of our Feature Pyramid, “First Nations: Stories of Creation.” The Heavenly Skies Dance Society will be on site to perform in Centre Court, and members of the Flying Eagle Community programs will be on site to lead crafts and games.
