Wendy’s Canada is adding a pickle-focused lineup to its menu with three new items available nationwide for a limited time.
The new menu includes the Dill Pickle Chicken Sandwich, Dill Pickle Shaker Fries and Dill Pickle Dipping Sauce. The sandwich can be ordered with either a Classic or Spicy chicken fillet and is available on its own or as part of a combo.
The Dill Pickle Chicken Sandwich is made with a 100% Canadian all-white meat chicken fillet. It comes topped with six pickle slices, mozzarella cheese and pickle-infused mayo on a toasted bun.
The fries take Wendy’s Hot & Crispy fries and add dill seasoning. The dipping sauce is meant to give customers another way to add the pickle flavour, whether with fries, chicken or other menu items.
The launch comes as pickle flavours continue to show up more often on Canadian menus. Wendy’s pointed to data from Technomic Ignite, which reported an 8% year-over-year increase in pickled items on Canadian menus as of late 2025.
The company also cited its delivery service provider, Skip, which found that Ontarians order more pickles than customers in any other province. Wendy’s said Gen X and Millennials have also shown strong interest in pickle-related food trends, based on the annual Pinterest Predicts report.
The Dill Pickle Chicken Sandwich and Dill Pickle Shaker Fries will be available for a limited time. Wendy’s Canada will also offer a small chocolate or vanilla Frosty for 99¢ for a limited time starting June 15, 2026.
