Wendy’s Canada is leaning into both comfort and curiosity this spring, rolling out a handful of limited-time menu items that mix familiar flavours with a few unexpected twists.
The new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frosty takes the chain’s familiar frozen dessert and gives it a cereal twist. Customers can choose a chocolate or vanilla Frosty, both made with 100 percent Canadian dairy, then expect caramel sauce on top along with a sprinkle of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
On the savoury side, Wendy’s is adding a new flavour to its chicken lineup. The Sweet Heat Honey Garlic Chicken Strips build on the brand’s existing strips, which use 100 percent all-white meat Canadian chicken. The update comes in the form of a honey garlic coating with a mild kick of heat. They are available in 3 or 5 pieces, either on their own or as part of a combo, but only for a limited time.
There is also a familiar option making its return. Wendy’s says its Sweet and Sour dipping sauce has been popular with customers, so it is bringing it back across Canada. It is meant to pair with items like Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Strips, or even Hot and Crispy Fries.
