WestJet has introduced a new daily year-round service between Regina and Minneapolis.

The launch of this critical year-round route to Minneapolis from Regina was celebrated today at a special event at the Regina Agribition Grounds. The airline was joined by notable partners including from left: Shaun Kindopp. CEO of Agribition, Tara Jago, WestJet, Senior Manager, External Affairs, James Bogusz, CEO Regina Airport Authority, Jared Mikoch-Gerke, WestJet, Director Alliances & Airport Affairs, Hon. Starting from April 28, 2024, this route establishes the first continuous transborder service from Regina since 2016 and adds to the existing connection between Saskatoon and Minneapolis.
The flights from Regina to Minneapolis will depart at 8:15 a.m., arriving at 11:16 a.m., while return flights from Minneapolis are scheduled at 1:15 p.m., reaching Regina at 2:36 p.m. This initiative is a part of WestJet’s 2024 summer schedule.
WestJet’s partnership with Delta Air Lines offers passengers access a network of over 70 destinations in the United States, starting from Regina with just one stop. The codeshare agreement between WestJet and Delta enables guests to book a single ticket for their entire journey, check-in once for all flights, and have their luggage tagged to the final destination.
Additionally, select passengers can enjoy lounge access, along with the opportunity to earn and redeem WestJet Rewards on both airlines, including benefits for frequent flyers throughout their travel.
