New Interactive Installations:
This year’s edition introduces three new interactive art installations by Canadian artists, adding a tactile, participatory experience to the outdoor displays:
- “Luminous Crossings” by Asli Alin (Toronto): Geometric, mirrored sculptures in the Rose Garden gazebos illuminated by shifting LED lights.
- “Tree Love” by ZEM (Kitchener): A light display connecting human touch with living trees that glow in response to hugs.
- “Switchgrass” by Treehouse Collective (Waterloo, Toronto, Montreal): A tactile light field inspired by Ontario’s native switchgrass, symbolizing the role of human care in sustaining ecosystems.
Artisan Village:
- Mini-Christmas Market featuring local artisans, including June Make Glass Art, IMAGINE THAT by Louanne, Bumpa Totes, Meg’s Boutique, Crosswind Creations, Jelly Bros., The Clay Cleric, Danilion Jewelry, Sage Laforme Art, and Meii Studio.
Returning Activities
- In addition to these new features, returning light displays, roaming entertainers, fire pits, and food and drink stations will line the pathways.
- Wander through Hendrie Park, and be serenaded by festive music and enveloped in the warm scents and flavours of the holiday season. The walk spans approximately 1.5 kilometres and takes about an hour to complete.
- Satisfy your cravings with a rotating menu of festive snacks and warm beverages, available for purchase from three stations along the walk.
- Indoors, you can explore the Botanical Train Display, seasonal décor, and live entertainment throughout RBG Centre, including the Mediterranean Garden, Atrium Bar, Greenhouse Café, and Garden Shop.

- Botanical Train Display features massive planters filled with 2,500 plants, creating a seasonal backdrop for seven model train tracks. Marvel at scale models of iconic Canadian landmarks, all meticulously crafted from plant materials.

Winter Wonders, a unique outdoor evening experience, guides visitors along Hendrie Park’s picturesque pathways adorned with charming festive lights, interactive installations and magical displays that tell the stories of unique winter wonders.
Guests are encouraged to allocate one to two hours for the experience. Pets, outside food, and beverages are not permitted, though service dogs are allowed.

Ticket Pricing:
Winter Wonders requires timed tickets, and space is limited. Tickets are non-refundable.
