In the heart of Ontario’s winter wonderland, Barrie’s Snow Valley Ski Resort will introduce winter ziplining this season.
The resort’s latest addition, the Summit Soar Quad Zip, is set to open this season and promises an exhilarating experience.
According to Snow Valley Ski Resort, four new zip lines, stretching a remarkable 1400 feet in length and suspended 75 feet above the ground, will offer a unique perspective of the stunning winter landscapes at speeds of up to 65km/h.
Beyond the excitement of the Summit Soar Quad Zip, Snow Valley Barrie holds a reputation for being the “Best Ontario Hill for Kids,” as recognized by Ski Canada Magazine. It’s a place where families can engage in a variety of winter sports, including snowboarding and skiing. Tailoring to all ages and skill levels, the resort offers lift tickets and ski and snowboard lessons, with flexible packages like the Start Anytime Tickets and Discover Packages.
Adding to its range of activities is snow tubing, and Snow Valley boasts the best snow tubing terrain in Ontario, equipped with three lifts and 14 chutes, standing over ten storeys high. The resort also provides snowshoe trails suitable for beginners and more challenging paths for the adventurous. Guests are also welcome to bring their dogs, provided they remain leashed. After a day of snowshoeing, visitors can warm up by a bonfire, savouring warm beverages and delicious donuts from the Snow Nut Hut.
