Guess who is coming to town this weekend?

The big guy in the red suit will visit Mississauga accompanied by festive floats on Sunday, December 3rd.
The Mississauga Santa Claus Parade will feature over 75 spectacular floats, marching groups, musical bands, and entertainment groups.
Parade Route
The parade, sponsored by Erin Mills Auto Centre, will begin at 12 a.m. from the intersection of Dunwin Drive and Glen Erin Drive.
The parade will then proceed south on Glen Erin, west on Motorway Blvd, and finally turn north onto Woodchester Drive.
If you are planning to attend the parade, remember to bring non-perishable food items as the parade supports important local charities, such as local Mississauga Food Banks, United Way of Peel Region, and Habitat for Humanity, among others.
The parade route opens at 11 a.m. so that you can claim your spot along the festive way.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early to secure their preferred viewing spots. They should also dress appropriately for the weather. Businesses along Motorway Blvd will remain open, offering complimentary hot chocolate, light refreshments, and access to amenities like changing rooms, feeding areas, and washrooms.
Road Closures, Parking & Transit
The parade route will be closed starting at 8:30 a.m.
Dunwin Drive, Woodchester Drive, and Motorway Boulevard will be shut from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Glen Erin Drive will also be closed from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, with southbound traffic on Glen Erin being diverted east along Dunwin Drive to Dundas Street.
For convenience and ease of access, street parking is available on Dunwin Drive, east of Glen Erin Drive, and around Motorway Blvd. However, attendees are encouraged to use public transit and comply with city by-laws and private parking regulations.
MiWay will detour on route 29 from 11 am to 4 pm for the Santa Claus Parade, causing missed stops along Dunwin Dr, Glen Erin Dr, Motorway Blvd, and Woodchester Dr.
Remember to dress for the weather. The current forecast calls for cloudy with a chance of drizzle and temperatures around 4 deg C.
