The 2025 World Spa Awards have been announced, and several Canadian spas earned top honours on the global stage. The annual program highlights excellence in wellness, from hotel spas to retreats.

Whistler Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler was named Canada’s Best Resort Spa 2025, edging out competitors including Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Wickaninnish Inn’s Ancient Cedars Spa, and Kananaskis Nordic Spa.
Spa Eastman, located in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, secured the title of Canada’s Best Wellness Retreat 2025, beating out well-known destinations such as Ste. Anne’s Spa in Ontario and Grail Springs Retreat Centre for Wellbeing.
In Toronto, the Guerlain Spa at Hotel X was recognized as Canada’s Best Hotel Spa 2025, ahead of high-profile nominees like Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s Sense Spa in Vancouver, Spa by Valmont at The Hazelton in Toronto, and Guerlain Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal.
Rounding out the Canadian honours, Strøm Nordic Spa in Old Quebec was crowned Canada’s Best Day Spa 2025, outpacing nominees such as Hammam Spa by Céla in Toronto and Vettä Nordic Spa in Ontario.
The awards, now in their 11th year, also spotlighted international winners such as Chenot Espace in Montenegro, named World’s Best Hotel Spa 2025, and Palazzo Fiuggi in Italy, which retained its crown as World’s Best Wellness Retreat.
