Three conservation areas near Toronto are offering sugar bush tours in the evening – Purple Woods Conservation Area in Oshawa, Mountsberg Conservation Area in Campbellville and Terra Cotta Conservation Area in Halton Hills.
Purple Woods Conservation Area
Join Sugarbush Lantern Walk at Purple Woods Conservation Area for a cozy evening exploring the sugarbush by lantern light. Savour a treat made with Purple Woods Maple Syrup, sip cedar tea, and taste different grades of maple syrup while learning its history by firelight.

The adults-only evening event at Terra Cotta Conservation Area begins with an enchanting wagon ride through the forest to an illuminated sugarbush, where the story of maple syrup in Canada comes to life. Enjoy warm maple syrup samples, maple taffy, and a maple-inspired tasting menu, paired with a cocktail or mocktail in a souvenir glass. Witness tree tapping demonstrations, then unwind by a crackling campfire as live music by Rag Maple Music fills the night.
