The limestone quarry in Wellington County is an ideal spot for a summer splash.
But, if you are planning an impromptu trip to enjoy tubing or swimming at Elora Conservation Areas, then you are going to be disappointed when you reach your destination.
Grand River Parks has announced that advanced reservations are required for all visitors to Elora Quarry. Tubing at Elora Gorge Conservation Area will also be available only via advanced reservations.
To better control the crowds at Elora Quarry, two 4-hour sessions will be offered each day from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Capacity will also be limited to 200 people or 150 vehicles per session. The cost of admission is $10.50 for adults, $5.50 for children, and a vehicle permit is $15.00 per session.
For river tubing in the Elora Conservation area, no walk-up sales of tubing tickets or equipment rentals will be available. Tickets for tubing and equipment rentals must be purchased online and in advance. Tickets can be purchased up to 3 days in advance and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable after the online order transaction is completed. Vehicle permits are available at the gate.
