The Yonge North York BIA (Business Improvement Area) invites you to participate in its second annual Canada Day Celebration at Mel Lastman Square.
Celebrate Canada Day at Yonge North York with a full day of family-friendly festivities across upper and lower levels. Enjoy free arts and crafts, face painting, a Kids Zone with inflatables, and a vendor fair featuring over 25 businesses. Entertainment includes DJ shows, live bands, dance lessons, and variety acts from 12 p.m. onwards. Evening highlights begin with a land acknowledgment, followed by a fire and dance show, and fireworks at 10 p.m.. Roaming entertainers and photo ops run from 5–9 PM throughout the venue.

Yonge Street will be closed between Park Home Avenue (North) and North York Boulevard (South).
Hillcrest Avenue will remain partially open to local traffic only.
Pedestrian access between Beecroft Road and Mel Lastman Square will also be temporarily closed during this time.
