3. Burns’ Night Dinner Celebration




Banish the mid-winter blahs with some “richt guid” cheer at our annual celebration of Robert Burns! The event follows the time- honoured format with the traditional piping-in of and Address to the Haggis, Toasts to the Lassies and Laddies and The Immortal Memory. This year we are delighted to welcome as our special guests The Honourable Bob Rae PC CC OOnt QC and his wife Arlene Perly Rae. Bob will toast “The Immortal Memory. All of us will be familiar with Bob Rae in the context of politics and public life. Those who have heard Bob speaking at Burns Dinners or other informal events will already know that his remarks are bound to be greatly entertaining.
