Valentine’s dayis coming – and it’s on a Friday this year! Don’t miss this opportunity to make it the best celebration yet. If you’re enjoying this lover’s weekend in Calgary, make sure to treat yourself with these vegetarian (and some fully vegan, noted below) friendly places.
Maybe one of you is a carnivore and one of you is a herbivore? No need to compromise. Read on to find restaurants with conscious options for both.
No date? No problem. Many places deliver so you can watch rom-coms and crack a bottle of wine alongside a delicious, plant-based meal.
Ten Foot Henry
The Vibe: Upscale and romantic, this modern take on family style meals is intimate and involved. Ten Foot Henry has amazing staff who know their stuff and will ensure your experience is top notch. They do offer some meat dishes, but most of their menu is “vegetable-anchored”. Meaning you can share a whole veggie meal with lots of options and lots of class.
Must Try: Tomatoes (trust me), Roasted Carrot and Parsnip and a couple of your favourite cocktails.

They also have crazy milkshakes that are very instagrammable, especially with bae in the background.
