2022 Official Canada Day Celebrations in Ottawa (New Location) to Feature Charlotte Cardin, Walk Off The Earth and Brilliant Fireworks

Ottawa’s extravagant Canada Day Celebrations are back with live programming in Ottawa and Gatineau.

As the Parliament is undergoing renovations, the main celebration stages will move to LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa and Place des festivals Zibi in Gatineau.

The daytime ceremony and the evening show will take place in LeBreton Flats Park.

 

Lisa LeBlanc, Jonathan Roy, ALLDAYJAM aka Mike Clay, Mélissa Ouimet, Geneviève et Alain, Marie Clo, Mia Kelly, Double Magnum and Gurdeep Pandher will entertain guests at Place des festivals Zibi, Visitors can also watch BMX demonstrations, admire urban artwork, and take part in a bunch of activities.

Tim Hortons Canada Day fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. and a dazzling pyrotechnic display will light up the sky over Ottawa–Gatineau.

Canada Day Daytime Ceremony

The daytime ceremony will highlight important anniversaries and themes while recognizing our country’s diversity.

The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m.

The evening show will be hosted by Isabelle Racicot and Ali Hassan from 8 to 10 p.m. and will feature the following artists:

Canada Day Fireworks

 

Tim Hortons Canada Day Fireworks will be held at LeBreton Flats Park starting at 10:00 p.m. For a spectacular view, go to LeBreton Flats Park or Place des festivals Zibi. Or head to the surrounding streets, which are closed to car traffic.

The sound and light show Northern Lights will return to Parliament Hill for its eighth season from July 7 to September 5.
