Ontario Regiment Museum
Aquino Tank Weekend is Canada’s largest and most remarkable historical military show, hosted by the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum as its premier annual event. With its action-packed program, the event offers an unforgettable experience for families and history enthusiasts alike.
Taking place over three days from June 12 to 14, Aquino Weekend showcases the Ontario Regiment Museum’s extensive collection of operational historical vehicles. These remarkable pieces are displayed both statically and dynamically throughout the weekend.

The three-day event features dynamic demonstrations, battle re-enactments, and one-on-one tank battles. These battle scenarios, enhanced by artillery, infantry, and vehicle encounters, are narrated and supported by realistic explosions and gunfire (using blanks), providing a comprehensive and intense historical experience.
Ontario Regiment Museum
In addition to the tank displays, attendees can explore exhibits from Canadian Armed Forces units and partner museums from Southern Ontario. Historical reenactors and supporting organizations, including the Pipe and Drums and Radio-Controlled Tanks, will also participate. The event features various other entertainment options, including food trucks, a beer garden, and a Kids Zone.
Beyond the exhilarating displays, attendees can explore the Ontario Regiment Museum and its living history exhibits.
