Jasper Dark Sky Festival
The crisp clear skies in the fall provide fantastic opportunities to view meteor showers like the Draconids Meteor Shower and Orionids Meteor Shower in October. It is at this time that Jasper National Park hosts its annual Dark Sky Festival. Running from October 14 to 23, 2022, highlights of this year’s festival include Edmonton Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony Under the Stars, a drone light show, and Ursa Major Tour (a helicopter tour at twilight).
