Canada’s Wonderland is preparing for its 2026 season by launching a large-scale hiring push, with about 4,000 positions to fill ahead of its May 3 opening.

Canada’s Wonderland
The Vaughan-based amusement park, spanning roughly 300 acres and featuring more than 200 attractions, will host a week-long hiring event to staff nearly every area of its operation. Roles are available across food and beverage, ride operations, lifeguarding, security, merchandise and games sales, and park services, among others.
Wages vary by age and position. Hourly pay starts at $16.60 for students under 18 and $17.60 for those aged 18 and older.
Some roles offer higher rates. Security Associates earn $20.25 per hour, while Admissions Team Leads are paid $18.20 per hour and Guest Services Team Leads receive $18.45 per hour. Aquatics Lifeguards without prior qualifications can start at $18.40 per hour. At the upper end, a full-time Landscape Maintenance Supervisor role is listed at $42.65 per hour.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old, although age requirements differ depending on the job. The park says it is looking to build a workforce capable of supporting millions of guests throughout the season.
Alongside wages, the park is emphasizing a broad set of employee perks. Associates receive free admission to Canada’s Wonderland when not working, along with complimentary entry to other Six Flags parks, including Cedar Point, Kings Island, Darien Lake and La Ronde. Employees can also earn promotional tickets for friends and family and receive a 20% discount on merchandise and select food locations.
Additional benefits include access to an employee cafeteria with discounted meals, free or reduced admission to various Ontario attractions, and staff-only events featuring rides, games and food.
