Calgary Folk Music Festival

Air Shows
Two major airshows are taking place this weekend.
- The Canadian Forces Snowbirds and CF-18 Demo Team will return to the Red Deer Regional Airport for an action-packed aviation event.
- The Lethbridge International Airshow, happening on July 29th and 30th at the Lethbridge Airport, guarantees a thrilling experience with aerial displays, food trucks, market, kids zone, and more.
Mountain-Aire Resort & Campground
Plan a stay with The Mountain-Aire Resort for access to a weekend full of mountain, river, and foothill adventures. The lodge and cabins are southwest of Sundre, in an area near the edge of the foothills and Rockies. If you need a basecamp for Rocky Mountain adventures but further north in Alberta, you can lay your head at the Alpine Village Cabin Resort which offers a wide variety of options. Music Festivals in Alberta
Both southern and central Alberta will see big music festivals this coming weekend along with unique acts, family friendly activities, and camping opportunities.
- The Blue Suede Music Festival in Westlock runs Friday to Sunday with a huge lineup of Elvis impersonators and tribute performances.
- Cornstock ’23 is a small music festival in Taber with onsite camping available and a lineup of classic rock acts.
- Tickets are still available for the Calgary Folk Music Festival, taking place from Thursday to Sunday. These include single-day and weekend passes.
