Edmonton 
We hope you’re hungry. There is new food to try around Edmonton from restaurants which offer a range of cuisine types. Edmonton’s newest restaurants this month include places for an upscale date, a quick and simple bite, or for after-work drinks.
You can find some of the new Edmonton restaurants popping up in the usual downtown and Old Strathcona areas. And this month, south Edmonton will also have a few new restaurants.
Darling
One of Whyte Avenue’s newest restaurants is Darling, a place for fresh food and global cuisine. The menu will rotate throughout the seasons so Darling can continue to offer the freshest local ingredients possible. The menu includes shareables and snacks, dinner mains, and dessert.

Yunshang Rice Noodle
There is a new hot pot spot in town! Edmonton recently welcomed Yunshang & Yang’s Chicken to the downtown core. While here, the trying the hot pot is highly recommended: it is a soup that is perfect for a cool rainy spring day. And soup is not the only menu item, of course. The eatery also has an array of meat entrees, salads and fresh greens, and their hand-pulled noodles.

Good Mate Pizza
You’ll find Good Mate Pizza in south-central Edmonton and conveniently close to Highway 2. They focus on fresh and healthy ingredients for their pizza toppings, which come in a wide variety of meats, vegetables, sauces, and cheeses. Good Mate offers all the classic pizza topping combos, as well as their signature pies like Chili Paneer, or the Good Mate Special.

Bodega
The Sabor group of restaurants celebrated their sixth restaurant opening in Edmonton this past month! South Edmonton is now graced with this restaurant’s delicious Italian eats, with a location now open on Ellerslie. And there is one single great thing about trying a new Bodega location: the menu is not the same as any of the other locations. No one Bodega menu is the same, in fact, giving you a reason to try the new location, and the rest!

Pizza Talks & Donair
South-central Edmonton welcomes Pizza Talks & Donair as one of the area’s newest pizza places. The takeout joint offers unique and flavourful pizza varieties, and a long list of other menu items. This includes donairs, burgers, poutine, rice bowls, and chicken strips. They offer continuous deals and specials on their food, too.
