There’s no better way to welcome spring in the GTA than with a walk through fields bursting with colour, and Pingle’s Farm in Oshawa is offering just that in time for Mother’s Day.
Tulip Days festival returns May 8, promising a full-on floral experience, complete with pick-your-own bouquets, live music, local food, and plenty of activities for all ages. Whether you’re there for the flowers, the photos, or just a good old-fashioned day at the farm, this event promises plenty of spring fun.
Spanning over three weekends, Tulip Days invites visitors to explore the largest tulip field in the Greater Toronto Area. More than 1 million tulips in 30 different varieties fill the fields, and guests are encouraged to handpick their own bouquets at the farm’s specially designated bouquet area. It’s a feast for the senses, and for those who love a good Instagram moment, there are plenty of picturesque photo props scattered throughout.
Beyond the tulips, Pingle’s offers a range of family-friendly attractions. Admission includes access to the animal barn, wagon rides, a playland with activities like trike racing, a straw pyramid, and a bubble barn, among others. It’s designed to keep kids entertained while adults soak in the vibrant scenery or snack on a fresh treat from the bakery.

From u-pick experiences, such as asparagus in the spring to apples in the fall, the farm also features seasonal flower fields, including lavender and sunflowers, as well as fun activities like a corn maze, Easter events, and fall festivals.
