The Lakeview Dog Dip is set to return to Toronto, hosted once again at the Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown.

The rooftop Lakeview Pool at the Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown, 249 Queens Quay West, will be reserved for dogs on Saturday, September 27, before it closes for the season. Small breeds, weighing up to 60 pounds, are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to noon, while larger dogs, 60 pounds and above, will swim from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Admission costs $35, covering one dog and up to two people, with optional donations accepted. Proceeds from the event will be directed to the Toronto Humane Society.
In 2024, the event generated $4,300 in ticket sales and an additional $250 in contributions. Organizers say all funds raised will again benefit animal welfare services.
Capacity is capped at 30 dogs in the pool at any given time. A certified trainer and staff will oversee the activities, and handlers must remain responsible for their dogs at all times. Rules require leashes when arriving and leaving, though they must be removed once animals are in the water. The pool is restricted to dogs only.
Dogs should be socialized, comfortable around others, and equipped with life jackets if they are inexperienced swimmers. Handlers are advised to monitor behaviour closely, as aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. Running on the deck is not permitted due to safety risks.
Amenities include a Pooch Patch relief station and complimentary toys and treats from Chewy Canada. While dogs are in the pool, owners may use the Lakeview Lounge deck for snacks and drinks.

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown will host the fourth annual Lakeview Dog Dip in support of the Toronto Humane Society. Before the rooftop Lakeview Pool closes for the season, it will be open to furry friends for one last splash. Pups can enjoy the water while owners relax on the Lakeview Lounge pool deck with delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.
