Love fast food burgers but still want to keep your New Year resolution of reducing calorie intake?
A&W is expanding its menu in the new year with the introduction of the Spicy Dill Pickle Buddy Burger, following the success of the Spicy Dill Pickle Mama Burger last summer.
This new addition, priced at $3.99, is now being offered for a limited period at A&W restaurants nationwide. The Buddy Burger features a 1.6 oz grass-fed beef patty, complemented by spicy dill pickle sauce, cheddar cheese, onion, and pickle slices, all served on a toasted bun. With 390 calories, 21g of fat, and 16g of protein, this burger caters to those seeking a lower-calorie option or those looking to snack on a burger.
“As a pickle girl, the Spicy Dill Pickle Mama is one of my all-time favourite burgers. I’m so excited to introduce the new Spicy Dill Pickle Buddy option for those snacky moments,” said Amanda Wang, A&W Marketing Director in a news release.
For those who prefer a larger burger, the Spicy Dill Pickle Mama Burger is also back on the menu. This option, with 520 calories, 33g of fat, and 25g of protein, is available for a limited time at A&W locations in Canada, priced at $5.99. Both burgers aim to appeal to the tastes of pickle and burger enthusiasts, offering options for different appetites and dietary preferences.
