About Bar OA Farms
The Bar OA family has a long history of farming in Alberta, dating back to the current owners’ grandparents. Originally, Bar OA Farm were a livestock farm. However, as the brand evolved and changed, the farm transitioned toward sustainable farming and flower cultivation. Blooms for Two Date Nights
Those special occasions, like anniversaries, engagements, or date nights in general, fit perfectly with Bar OA’s Blooms for Two Date Nights. This special evening experience has four summer dates and one fall date currently set for 2025. And consider this for any type of date, romantic, familial, or platonic!
The Blooms for Two includes a farm tour, a u-pick garden experience, and help from their experts on arranging all you picked together. Once all the flower fun is over, you and your date will enjoy charcuterie and cold drinks to share in the garden, along with yard games to play, creating an all-out picnic experience.

Brunch & Bloom
The two upcoming Brunch & Bloom events are perfectly timed for some of the capital region’s best summer weather. Rain or shine, the Brunch & Bloom at Bar OA Farms is an elevated and elegant experience complete with a glass of bubbly. The event will start off with a farm tour and flower-picking, followed by a multi-course brunch inspired by the summer season.

Garden Parties
These summer Garden Parties at the Bar OA Farm include a little taste of everything they offer, including a bit of food and drink, flower picking, and arrangement creations.
The Garden Parties begin with a flower picking and cutting 101 and an introduction to the farm. This is all accompanied by the serving of a locally inspired drink. Then out to the flower fields to find your favourites to arrange into your own bouquet. Lastly, the experience concludes with social time in the garden with a small snack and drink. Plus, each guest will receive a gift to take home.

Garden Kaiseki Coffee Experience
Bar OA’s Garden Kaiseki Coffee Experience is a journey through various types of coffees and gourmet dishes. The multi-course meal is served alongside expertly paired coffees, where the dish and drink complement one another in tastes and flavours. The Kaiseki experience stems from Japanese traditions and is intended as a way to start the day off with meaning.

Moon Dinner Series
Is there any better way to enjoy a farm-to-table dinner than under the light of the moon and in a large farm field of flowers? The Bar OA 2025 Moon Dinner Series offers just that with goods from their and local nearby farms. The dinners end with desserts in the garden where guests are invited to enjoy the light of the full moon.

Planning Your Trip – Bar OA Farms
What: The Fort Saskatchewan Bar OA Farm is a flower farm at its core, but also a lesser-known local attraction with a great deal of summer experiences. The summer experiences from Bar OA Farm include farm tours, flower picking and bouquet building, date night and a picnic, dining experiences, and social events. The farm also sells fresh flowers and weekly blooms, and wedding bouquets.
