Summer is around the corner and from music festivals to hiking trails, Barrie and Simcoe County offers a variety of activities for people of all ages and tastes.

Barrie Waterfront Festival
Barrie is kicking off its summer offerings with a free festival which draws huge crowds – the Barrie Waterfront Festival.
Held at Centennial Park from May 27th to 29th, visitors can enjoy live bands from a variety of genres.
The lineup includes Crooked Zebras and Table 69 on May 27th, Toronto All Star Big Band, The Argues, The AC/DC Show, Crooked Zebras and Jukebox Heroes on May 28th. Tribute bands like Tribute to U2, We Ain’t Petty, and Just Journey closes out the festival on May 29th.
In addition to these amazing musical acts, the whole family can delight in street buskers and fun activities like face painting.
Astro Amusements will be bringing its roster of rides, game concessions, inflatable castles, slides, and obstacles to delight thrill-seekers of all ages.
For those looking to eat, drink and have fun, there will street vendors, fresh food treats, and food trucks.
