Looking for an exciting activity on your drive from Edmonton to Jasper National Park? Then, plan a stop at Alternative Adventures near Hinton.
The zipline experiences with Alternative Adventures aren’t like your average zipline trips. When you book any of their three ‘flights’ at the Hinton base, you are signing up to fly through the foothills just like a superhero would: arms out, and on your belly!
Alternative Adventures are located between Hinton and the Jasper National Park gates. So, when you are soaring through the air, you’ll have unbeatable views of Jasper’s jagged peaks and the surrounding hills.
The company offers three different types of zipline experiences along their 366m/1200ft track, all of which can be adjusted for your personal level of thrill-seeking: slow, medium, or fast.
Zipline Adventures to Try:
Superhero Flights: a single-person flight at your choice of speed while flying superman style
Tandem Flights: a two-person flight at your choice of speed while you both fly superman style; a great option for parent-child pairings.
Superhero Flight + Base Jump: a single-person flight plus the base jump which is from the same starting point as flights; the main difference is there is more slack on the line, so you get more of a free-fall experience!
