Get lost inside Monet’s masterful artworks filling 50,000 square feet of space in BMO Centre in Stampede Park.
The exhibition will literally paint the walls of Calgary’s famous convention centre and turn it into an ethereal representation of Monet’s work – the unbridled pursuit of light from the leading figure of Impressionism.
Just like the Van Gogh Exhibition, you can take in every brushstroke and masterful blending of colours inside a captivating atmosphere enhanced with music, sound effects and scenography.

The exhibition is brought to life by Mathieu St-Arnaud and Félix Fradet-Faguy, and their creative team at Normal Studio. Beyond Monet is full of infinite potential for wonder and sheds new light on what the world thought they knew about Monet.
Monet’s stunning imagery will encompass every surface, from floor to ceiling, transporting guests inside the paintings themselves. It is bound to be a haven for awakening the senses as the ebb and flow of the artwork is accompanied by the rhythm of an original score.

Beyond Monet is a three parts multi-sensory experience anchored in the unbridled pursuit of light that drove this leading figure of Impressionism. This unique experience draws upon the sense of exhilarating freedom and continuous refusal of conventions ingrained in Monet’s work in order to go beyond the frame and allow the viewer to escape in this quest for the ephemeral and the magical variations of the atmosphere. Skillfully combining music, sound effects, scenography and projection, Beyond Monet reveals the poetic, playful and dreamlike potential of his work. Monet’s vision tells of an incandescent world without shores, a world of fleeting and dazzling reflections.
