Brampton’s Famous Outdoor Skating Trails Are Now Open For 2025-26 Winter Season

Get ready to embrace winter in Brampton, as the city has opened two of Ontario’s famous skating trails.

Coast through winding pathways as Chinguacousy Park Skate Recreational Trail and Gage Park Outdoor Skating Recreational Trail are now open.

Skate rentals and skate sharpening are available on a limited basis at both trails.

 

Mount Pleasant Outdoor Skating Rink, Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Skating Rink, and Earnscliffe Park Outdoor Skating Rink are all open for the season.

The city is also planning to open Mount Chinguacousy for Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing, weather and snow conditions permitting, by mid-January.

  6. Gage Park Outdoor, Main St. South and Wellington St. West
  7. Gore Meadows , 10150 The Gore Road
  8. Peel Village Park, 47 Watson Cres.
  9. Major William Sharpe Park, 0 Phelps Dr
  10. Mount Pleasant, 100 Commuter Dr.
  11. Sesquicentennial Park, 11475 Bramalea Rd.

How Much: Free to Skate

Skate, helmet and skate aid rentals are available at Gage Park & Chinguacousy Park on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5 – 9:45 pm and Saturday and Sundays from 10 am – 9:45 pm (weather permitting).
