- Menesetung Bridge, which spans the Maitland River, offers a spectacular winter walk with views of the river and the harbour. The Tiger Dunlop Heritage Trail connects to the Maitland Trail, and the Goderich-to-Auburn Rail Trail offers a fabulous opportunity for snowshoeing when there is sufficient snowfall.

The Winterfest Weekend in Goderich guarantees three days of family-friendly winter fun.
- Friday, Feb 6 kicks off the weekend with family-friendly and evening events, including “Make a Mess!” indoor play for kids at the Huron County Museum, the Downtown Cinnamon Bun Trail, a candlelit walk through Maitland Woods, and a Legion meat draw with live music.
- Saturday, Feb 7 is packed with Winterfest highlights, featuring outdoor games and attractions at Courthouse Square, movie day at the library, Goderich Crushers ringette games, the Rotary Chili Cook-off, indoor kids’ play, open swim, and an evening meat draw at the Legion.
- Sunday, Feb 8 wraps up the weekend with more ringette action, open gym and skate sessions at the Maitland Recreation Centre, Sunday bingo at the Columbus Centre, and a Super Bowl watch party at Boston Pizza Goderich.
