Foothills Creamery has partnered with Calgary Flames to bring a taste of the Saddledome home in celebration of the current Stanley Cup playoff run.

Foothills Creamery’s Cinnamalt Swirl soft serve is a staple at Saddledome concession stands and about 40,000 litres of soft-serve ice cream is sold at the ‘Dome’ each year.
Now, a reimagined hard ice cream version blending cinnamon chocolate and vanilla flavours – ‘C of Red Cinnamalt Swirl’ – is available in the freezer section at all Calgary Co-op grocery stores.
“For years, fans have been lining up at the rink for our signature Cinnamalt Swirl soft serve and it has made a name for itself as a fan-favourite Saddledome snack,” said Bill McKenzie, CEO of Foothills Creamery in a statement.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Calgary Flames to make the perfect pairing of hockey and ice cream accessible to Calgarians in their homes. With playoff hockey being spring hockey, the timing couldn’t be better to launch this warm-weather treat to the entire Flames fanbase.”
C of Red Cinnamalt Swirl is available in 500ml tubs at all Calgary Co-op retailers across the city.
Calgary-based Foothills Creamery has been in business since 1969 and making ice cream for nearly 40 of those years. Currently, more than 80 flavours of its famous ice cream, sorbet, sherbet and soft serve can be found at 500+ independent scoop shops throughout Western Canada.
Foothills Creamery is 100% Canadian-owned, and also has locations in Edmonton and Kelowna.
