The city of Calgary has introduced an online Inspections Booking System to simplify the process for homeowners, building professionals, and tradespeople to schedule and oversee their development, building, and trade inspections.
The city says this digital shift allows users to apply for and monitor permits at their convenience, enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
In conjunction with the new online system, the city has also launched an Inspections Call Centre. This resource is designed to assist users with their bookings, manage inspections, and aid in setting up a myID account. The call center can be reached at 403-268-5311, where trained staff will provide guidance through every step of the process.
“With these enhancements, we hope to increase the ease of accessibility for Calgarians and a better customer service experience,” said Cliff de Jong, Manager, Customer Advisory Services, in a news release.
“The Inspections Booking System makes it easier for customers to book and manage the inspections from anywhere, at any time, reducing the risk of errors and ensures that inspections are booked quickly and accurately.”
