The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival which debuted in Calgary last year is returning to the city for its second edition this summer.
Taking place in August at Prince’s Island Park, the Calgary Festival will see Jonathan Van Ness headline on Saturday, August 26th and Andrew Schulz on Sunday, August 27 in addition to local comedians, improv groups and DJs.
Jonathan Van Ness will be joined on stage by the incredible Monét X Change. Also featured is the immaculate drag queen, Priyanka. Local superstars Karla Marx and DJ MollyFi will help keep the good vibes at all-time levels. Jonathan Van Ness is an Emmy-nominated television personality, New York Times best-selling author, and podcaster who stars on Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning reboot series “Queer Eye.”
Andrew Schulz is currently the most-viewed comedian in the world. Annie Lederman and DJ Kav will also entertain the crowds on Sunday.
Headliners for the Edmonton edition of the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are not yet announced.
General admission tickets start at $49 and go up to $199 for a front-row VIP Reserved Seat with full table-side service. Early bird general admission tickets are available for $39 to $69 for a limited time.
Tickets will be on sale on Friday, February 3 at 10 AM MST.
