The Canadian Snowbirds were planning to flypast parts of Southern Ontario today as part of the cross-country tour aimed at boosting morale as Canadians continue to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The planned ‘Operation INSPIRATION’ will see the team’s signature nine-jet formation, with trailing white smoke, flying over cities across the country.

The snowbirds were scheduled to fly from Trenton to Toronto, Mississauga to London via Hamilton and Niagara Falls, and London to Barrie via KW Region and Collingwood.
After taking off on time (9:30 a.m) from Trenton, the Canadian Snowbirds had to turn back after reaching east of Toronto due to inclement weather. The Snowbirds plan to hold at 8 Wing/Canadian Forces Base Trenton for 24 hours.
