Canadian Snowbirds has announced that Canada’s iconic military aerobatics team of the Royal Canadian Air Force will be flying over Calgary Area on July 14th.
According to Canadian Snowbird’s social media accounts, Snowbirds will fly over Calgary, Okotoks, Cochrane and Airdrie from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m as part of Operation Inspiration. As per the account, the team will take off from Calgary Airport, fly over Calgary hospitals turning on the smoke systems onboard following which they will fly to Okotoks, Cochrane and Airdrie.
Flight Plan (Schedule):
Starting at 12:00 pm. on July 14th, the Snowbirds will fly over in the following order:
- Peter Lougheed Center
- Downtown core
- Foothills Medical Centre
- South Health Campus
- Okotoks
- Rockyview General Hospital
- Alberta Children’s Hospital
- Canada Olympic Park
- Cochrane
- Morley
- Airdrie
- YYC Airport
Snowbirds will be flying over 1000 feet above the highest point on the route.

The Canadian Snowbirds will be participating in Camrose Airshow on July 24 and 25 and City of Cold Lake’s Aqua Days on July 31, and August 1, 2021.
