This year’s Canyon Lights introduces exciting new features that add fresh charm to the beloved event, ensuring both returning guests and first-time visitors have something special to enjoy.

  • Wildlight, a new 3D wildlife projection, debuts this season deep within the rainforest, showcasing lifelike depictions of local animals such as black bears, coyotes, and Great Horned Owls. The immersive visual display combines natural landscapes with advanced projection technology to create a striking nighttime experience for visitors.

The addition of Wildlight enhances the event’s traditional attractions, joining the glowing Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk as part of the park’s annual transformation into a holiday light display that features millions of illuminated bulbs across the forest and suspension bridge.

Canyon Lights offers a variety of attractions that combine the park’s iconic features with festive enhancements, providing a unique holiday experience in a natural setting.

Illuminated Suspension Bridge: Walk across the world-famous bridge, now glowing with multi-colored lights that span the canyon, offering panoramic views of the illuminated surroundings.

Breathtaking Views: The lights create a continuous glow from end to end, making the crossing an unforgettable experience.

Cliffwalk’s Twinkling Pathway: Explore the Cliffwalk, where the walkway along the cliff’s edge is adorned with sparkling lights against the granite cliff face.

Stunning Backdrop: The combination of the cliff’s natural beauty and the festive lights offers a picturesque setting for visitors. The lighting transforms the forest into a magical realm, enhancing the adventure through the treetops.

Treetops Adventure Among Lit Douglas-Firs: Journey up to 110 feet above the forest floor on suspended bridges, surrounded by towering Douglas-fir trees illuminated from top to bottom.

The Trading Post has been redesigned into a North Pole Photo Spot, where visitors can pose beside Santa’s sleigh and reindeer, meet the park’s polar expedition bear, and enjoy live seasonal entertainment beneath simulated Northern Lights.

Winter Rainforest Explorers program: Families can take part in the Winter Rainforest Explorers program, a self-guided children’s activity featuring characters like Dr. Woods, Ranger Raccoon, Scout Squirrel, Ollie Otter and Echo Eagle. Participants collect explorer stickers around the park and receive a keepsake ornament from the Treehouse at Treetops Adventure.

Holiday Dining at The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar: Indulge in seasonal culinary delights, including feature menu items like the Braised Beef Short Rib and Lois Lake Steelhead Crudo, with desserts like Crispy Fried Chocolate Lava Cake and beverages including the Merry Margarita, Mulled Wine and Traditional Eggnog.
