I’m looking forward to the completion of Ontario Place’s brand-new Celebration Common. It’s kind of a throwback to the 1970’s when Ontario Place had play areas for young families with children. I will never forget the jungle gyms and the climbing apparatuses.

There will be Sunday afternoon performances at Celebration Common. This is an opportunity for me to meet people originally from Venezuela; Sunday is the traditional day for expatriate Venezuelan families living in Toronto go out together and as a result, Toronto tourist attractions like Ontario Place have special family-friendly activities including live music and street theatre. In recent years, there’s been a large influx of Venezuelans coming here as new immigrants.
