Chapman’s Ice Cream will introduce its new Butter Tart flavour at the 2025 edition of Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival, taking place on June 14 in downtown Midland.

The announcement follows a new partnership between Chapman’s and the festival, which will continue through 2026.
The new Super Premium Plus Butter Tart ice cream is made with Canadian dairy and includes brown butter, brown sugar, raisins, cookie crumble, and a maple ripple. It is also peanut-free, nut-free, and egg-free, a first for a luxury ice cream in its category.
The one-day festival, which has run annually since 2013, is expected to attract approximately 60,000 attendees. This Midland festival features over 230 vendors and more than 300,000 butter tarts. Activities include live music and a designated Kids’ Zone. Admission is free, with events scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
