Starting today until April 23rd, the Banff Food and Cocktail Festival brings the most mouth-watering cocktails, mocktails and local food that Banff has to offer.
Exclusive cocktails menus will be served at all the participating restaurants during the festival. Whether you’re a foodie, a cocktail lover, or you’re looking for a unique, unforgettable experience, this festival has something for everyone. This is a sustainable culinary experience bringing you the best flavours of Alberta, British Columbia and Banff and Lake Louise Region.
On April 21st and 22nd, join them for an incredible outdoor cocktail-tasting event, The Made With Love Festival on Bear Street. Experience the best of Banff’s local cocktail, mocktail, and food scene as you explore the stunning Bear Street area. Tickets cost $25 and include 10 tasting coupons, an official tasting glass and access to the festival area till 4 30 or 8 p.m.
Other events include:
- The Cocktail Adventure with Pursuit and Wild Life Distillery, is a luxury trip all the way to Sulphur Mountain. You will ride on open top touring vehicles as you explore Banff and later enjoy a Gondola Ride to the Sulphur Mountain Summit. This also includes a four course dinner experience with cocktails. This adventure will take place on April 13th at the Mount Royal Hotel. Tickets cost $230.
- On April 22nd, the best bartenders from the regional Made with Love cocktail competitions will go head-to-head in a battle for the title of Canada’s best Barchef.
- The Made with Love National Final Competition is described as Canada’s ultimate mixology competition. Watch these bartenders create unique flavors to impress you and the judges. Tickets cost $35 and include 10 tasting coupons, an official tasting glass and the opportunity to taste 5 competition cocktails. You will also be able to vote during the competition.
- Learn how to make cocktails at the Bartending School at the Park Distillery Restaurant and Bar. Expert mixologists will teach you special techniques to make 3 classic style cocktails. Tickets cost $40 for this 2 hour class.
- Watch Banff’s best bartenders compete at the Wild Life Cocktail Competition at Rundle Bar. Each contestant has to make 4 cocktails in just 7 minutes.
- Try delicious Japanese cuisine paired with Japanese inspired cocktails at Shoku Izakaya on April 19th. They offer a mouthwatering multi-course menu.
- At the Park Distillery Restaurant and Bar, you can enjoy 50% off on all cocktails from April 17th to 23rd.
- From April 21st to 22nd enjoy Lupo Happy Hour which is an Italian happy hour serving unique Aperol cocktails, pastas, pizzas and much more.
