Alberta Kennel Club Summer Classic dog show

Come see dogs of all shapes and sizes at the Alberta Kennel Club Summer Classic dog show.

Nearly 2,000 canines and their human companions will compete each day in several dog sports – including junior handling for the kids, obedience trials, rally obedience trials, agility, scent hurdle racing, and of course for the coveted Best in Show!

There is also great shopping – for dogs and humans!

What You’ll See at the Summer Classic

• Conformation Shows, where purebred dogs are evaluated against their breed standard
• Speciality Breed Shows, Single breed conformation show at national or regional level.
• Agility Competitions, a high‑energy crowd favorite featuring dogs racing through jumps, tunnels, and obstacles
• Rally and Obedience Trials, demonstrating teamwork, training, and communication
• Breed Showcases, offering a chance to meet and learn about many different dog breeds

Tickets : Admission available at the gate – cash only.

Adults: $15
Youth (12 to 18 years old): $7.50
Seniors (65+0/ Children under 12 are free
Parking $10

Wheelchair accessible

Parking is located at Strathcona Tweedsmuir School, where attendees can enjoy a complimentary shuttle service to and from the show grounds. A designated drop‑off zone is available at the dog show. There is no guest parking at the show grounds.
