Block Heater is an annual winter festival presented by the Calgary Folk Fest that highlights incredible Canadian and international artists.
Where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet is where music and community will collide for an all-encompassing winter wonderland filled with great vibes, local food vendors, a skating rink, kids programming, firepits, and all sorts of folkie family fun.
Featuring headlining performances by Cedric Burnside, Field Guide, Fruit Bats (solo), Goldie Boutilier, Jeremie Albino, Joel Plaskett, and The War and Treaty.
Groove under a massive heated tent and three indoor stages with tunes to melt the frost right off your toque. From marquee artists to emerging local gems, Block Heater is our frosty answer to the summer festival — a chance to plug in, chill out, and dance off those winter blues.
