Events Description
Embrace the chill on the toboggan hill or face off on the ODR before you sip a cup of sweet cocoa by the bonfire as you beat the end of winter blues at Cabin Fever, Airdrie’s winter festival!
Downtown Airdrie’s Cocoa Fever on Feb. 17 offers a chocolate trail with unique hot chocolate and chocolate concoctions from local businesses. Concurrently, Chinook Winds Regional Park hosts several events: a Retro 80’s & 90’s Pop-Up Party, Nordic Cross-Country Ski Day, and Backyard Play – Outdoor Edition, all depending on snow conditions. Additionally, Nose Creek Regional Park invites attendees to a Fire & Ice Skating Party with skating, fire dancers, and free hotdogs and smores. The weekend also features a Curling “Try It” Day and the Annual Frostbite Run for charity, concluding with a Funky Family Day Skate at Plainsmen Arena on Feb. 19, showcasing retro vibes on ice.
