Events Description
After the exciting stops in France and Austria, the WWS Overall Tour is heading back to the great white north of Canada for its 3rd stop.
Calgary, known for hosting one of the most well-known and largest Rodeos on the planet (Calgary Stampede), will now play host to the men and women of the overall tour at the stunning site of the 2009 World Water Ski Championships – The Lakes Of KastynStone /Predator Bay Ski Club.
This club has a rich history of hosting national and international events on all levels of the sport, with multiple Canadian National Championships and the Calgary Pro Shootout under its belt. The picturesque lakes at Predator Bay, surrounded by trees and wildlife on all sides, will provide the overall skiers with another brilliant opportunity to not only compete against each other for valuable tour points but also to experience one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. And with skiers being able to drop their lowest score of the four tour events, Calgary will be the first event where a tour champion could be crowned. Fans of the sport will not want to miss out on any of the action
