The Bonhomme Carnaval is a fun, family festival that celebrates French Canadian culture and food. The Hinton Nordic Centre is a great place to gather with friends to enjoy the outdoors and listen to some French music while trying out:
– Free cross country skiing (equipment provided)
– Free kick sledding (equipment provided)
– Toboganning (bring your own)
– Concession features French Canadian hot dishes such as tourtiere, sugar pie, pea soup and baked beans. There are also western favorites like hot dogs, snacks, cold and hot drinks. Alberta Parks will have a fur trade display on site in the chalet.

Tickets :FREE for some recreational activities – skiing, kick sledding, and tobogganing
French and western cuisine featured in concession for a fee, sugaring off on snow for $3 as a fundraiser for Grade 6 EMVS students going to Quebe
