For over two decades the Calgary Jazz Orchestra has presented Johnny Summers’ “Perfectly Frank Christmas” shows. The show blends the timeless songs of Sinatra both as he played them and new arrangements, with the music of Christmas through many musical styles. That has become a holiday tradition for us, and so many of you! We ALWAYS have new music, fun, and wonderfully warm moments, matched with surprise guests, but one of this years guests we have to share with you now.
We will be joined by Roger Ingram playing lead trumpet, who has laid down the style and screaming energy for Harry Connick jr. Maynard Ferguson, Ray Charles and The Chairman himself, Mr. Frank Sinatra.
We know Mr. Summers is brimming with ideas to feature the musicians of the CJO, Roger Ingram, and some special surprise guests as he writes this years show for you
