“in light of the spread of COVID-19 and in consideration of the ‘mass gathering’ nature of the event.” It was set to take place March 14, the Calgary Sugar Shack is cancelled.

 


 

Since 2002, the Calgary Sugar Festival has been a unique destination where we share a tradition of Eastern Canada. Discover French-Canadian, Métis and Native American folk music and dances, enjoy a traditional meal, and more!

On the program, the bilingual family show Zèbre et l’Orignal, Folklofolie artists, the Calgary Métis Cultural Dancers, the voice of the Rockies choir, the Calgary Air Cadets, and other surprises to come! All accompanied by the essential maple taffy, outdoor and indoor activities for the whole family and the possibility of enjoying a delicious traditional meal concocted by chef Alain Ethier …
