Bundle up! East End Cold Spell is Calgary’s newest winter festival, and its sweeping into the city February 2026.
Celebrate Calgary’s winter culture and fun-loving energy through retro fashion, high-flying cowboy stunts, toe-tappin’ tunes and outdoor family fun. Featuring two of Calgary’s hottest events Skijordue and Block Heater, The Confluence is transforming into the coolest hub for cold-weather events.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, glide down to The Confluence for an action-packed day of FREE outdoor activities for all ages! The Cold Spell Fun for All promises a variety of unique sporting activities, hockey lessons and skating on the ODR, horse-drawn wagon rides, food trucks and more.
