Celebrate the beauty and diversity of Francophone cinema at the 2nd Edition of Coup de Projecteur – Calgary’s Francophone Film Festival, presented by Cinémagine Alberta at Globe Cinema, from December 5 to 7, 2025.
This year’s program features 7 films in competition and 1 animated film out of competition, showcasing emerging Francophone directors from France, Québec, the Caribbean, Haiti, and Senegal.
Each screening includes English subtitles, making the festival accessible to both French and English-speaking audiences.
Exclusive Q&A sessions with filmmakers and actors after each film, a special live broadcast of Radio-Canada’s La Croisée recorded on-site, and a festive opening cocktail celebrating Francophone culture in Alberta.
At the closing ceremony, the Coup de Projecteur Award will be presented to the winning film of this year’s edition.
This is 3 inspiring days of cinema, creativity, and cultural exchange at the heart of downtown Calgary.
