Events Description
The Calgary regional ACFA is proud to announce the holding of the fourth edition of the Francophone Winter Festival.
The festivities revolve around family values, accompanied by folk musical presentations in favor of Franco-Albertan, Quebecois, African and Indigenous traditions on Saturday, and a “Galala” on Friday evening that will lead us to discover young emerging artists from Francophone and immersion schools.
The festival offers a variety of activities for families, including discovering Calgary’s Francophone heritage, cultural activities for youth and children, outdoor FUNs for the whole family, maple taffy on snow and hayrides, a cowboy photo booth with props, as well as other surprise activities that will introduce the public to traditions from different Francophone countries around the world.
