25th Annual FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Society PRESENTS: New Year’s Eve Dinner, Comedy AND Dance Party

• SEAN LECOMBER – A FunnyFest Favourite – Sean is a stand up comedian with a unique perspective. His comedy is refreshingly based on words and story rather than movement and expression. His interesting take on all topics under the sun will leave you in fits of laughter. He tells the sort of jokes you remember and tell your friends. According to Sean making people laugh is the only thing he’s ever been good at. And he is good. SEAN’s clean and clever brand of humour will be more than enough comedy to launch your new year!
Sean Lecomber’s list of comedy accomplishments is impressive: Winner 2007 JUST FOR LAUGHS ‘CANADA’S BEST NEW COMIC’; 2 time CANADIAN COMEDY AWARD NOMINEE; 1 hour TV special on the Comedy Network; Tonight Show with Jay Leno; Many appearances on CBC’s ‘The Debaters’; and was a Writer for This Hour has 22 Minutes.
• STU HUGHES – Clever, over – the – top and fast paced! Silly Sarcasm is rampant! Ride the roller coaster of funny! Stu offers a kaleidscope of refreshingly funny and absurd perspectives. Some times Stu is outrageous and some times Stu hits a bullseye with his social commentary. Most of the time, stu does not know what he is going to say until he starts performing, but he is always original … and FUNNY!
• JOE KING – “The King is Here!” – An accomplished impressionist, with a keen eye for pop culture. Joe was the Winner of the 2009 / 9th Annual FUNNYFEST COMEDY COMPETITION
• Bianca Zuber – Stories of Growing up in Central Alberta as a Gay Gal are funny enough, but she adds more laughs with silly absurdities about modern culture. Bianca was a recent Graduate of the “FUNNYFEST Comedy Workshop”.
