Join us at the King Eddy for a showcase-style event starring the participants of National Music Centre’s after-school program, Jam Club!
The event provides this year’s young musicians with the opportunity to showcase their hard work in front of a supportive audience before taking a break for summer.
About NMC Jam Club
Jam Club has been an integral part of National Music Centre’s programming for over a decade. Born out of the earlier Guitar Club program that was aimed specifically towards “at risk” youth, today Jam Club emphasizes creating space and opportunity for any and all teens in the community. This weekly free after-school drop-in program brings teens and volunteers together in support of music learning and the acquisition of important life skills such as teamwork, collaboration, intuition, and timing.
