Paul Cauthen is an East Texas singer-songwriter known for his booming baritone and distinctive blend of outlaw country, gospel, Americana and rock. After emerging with the duo Sons of Fathers, he launched a solo career with 2016’s My Gospel. Nicknamed “Big Velvet,” Cauthen has built a reputation for theatrical live shows, candid songwriting and a fiercely independent musical identity.
